We are delighted to say that the Let’s Visit website was shortlisted in the recent 2011 TravelMole Web Awards for “best tourist board”, being one of four finalists in this category. Others included accommodation over and under twenty rooms, tour operator, car hire, airline, travel agent, travel directory and travel blog. The Travelmole web awards are designed to encourage excellence in online travel and this year was the eighth year that the awards have been held.
Held at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in London, the event was packed with many of our peers within the travel industry and was praised as being one of the speediest ceremonies in the business! Travelmole managing director Graham McKenzie was presenting the awards and clearly was very efficient in ensuring everyone made it to the after party on time! The winners in our category, best tourist board, were www.austria.info/uk. Very worthy winners, we congratulate them on the award.
We are very proud to have got so far in this prestigious competition, particularly in our first year! It’s not only great recognition for us but also gives both us and all of our advertisers fantastic visibility worldwide.
