About Shelly's Tea Room
Shelly’s of Chilham is located in a chocolate box village, in what must be the most original village square in the country. Located only 6 miles from Canterbury, Chilham has a rich history and is entirely made up of 15th & 16th Century houses and it even has its own castle. In the Summer you can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular view of Chilham square and in the winter sit inside the cosy beamed interior and enjoy a bowl of homemade soup.
Established in 2007 Shelly`s Tea Rooms deliver fantastic service and assure you of a friendly welcome from attentive staff throughout your visit. The food is carefully sourced to ensure the highest of quality and the most generous of portions are given, with the focus on value for money. Opening 7 days a week they serve the full menu right up until closing time, serving such food as oven baked jacket potatoes, freshly baked baguettes, sandwiches and panini’s alongside homemade soup and curry.
No tea shop would be complete without a fine selection of handmade cakes and most important of all cream teas. In keeping with tradition, they insist on freshly baked scones, baked on the premises daily each morning and are served with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
