Originally built in 1763 as a farm dwelling this Kent hotel has recently undergone refurbishment and is now a hotel.
With views across rolling countryside it now offers rooms, most with ground floor access and some equipped for disabled guest use. Rooms for families are also available.
The Blazing Donkey also offers in room entertainment. All guest rooms enjoy their own en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and a full range of guest services are available including 24 hour room service.
The Hotel is also home to ‘Samphire at Ham’ a restaurant in kent which takes it’s name from the ‘sea vegetable’; it’s an apt title for a restaurant serving food based on locally sourced ingredients. In the winter, crackling log fires provide the atmosphere and in the warmer Summer months meals can be taken on the terrace overlooking the gardens.
The restaurant is open at the weekends - booking is essential though!
