The Grove Ferry took its name from a hand drawn ferry that crossed the river in front of the building. It is still the traditional coaching inn it once was, but now setting the standards in modern day England.
The food here is good, honest, and cooked to order. They only use local, fresh ingredients. Nothing is from a packet at The Grove Ferry!
The Grove Ferry team are also passionate about Ales. You will be able to sample some of the finest Ales in the country here as they have teamed up with Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest brewer.
There are six en-suite rooms in the Manor. Covering the entire section of the first floor, the six rooms are generous in space, light and comfortable. With exposed oak flooring, double bed, shower and bath en-suites they are an ideal stop over or get away for a weekend. You can also enjoy having breakfast whilst overlooking the picturesque river as breakfast is also included.
The Grove Ferry also offers a boat trip so come along, enjoy a relaxing drink, good food and top it off with an informative trip down the river... what a way to spend a day!
