In a prominant position within the chocolate box setting of Chilham, one of Kent's showpieces, you will find the White Horse. Sitting on the corner of the main square just next to St Marys Church, this picturesque pub is one not to miss!

It's not just any old pub...

They serve homemade cakes and coffee throughout the day, and bake their own organic homemade bread (which you can take home by the loaf if you like)

All the food is fresh, local and organic. The vegetables are from Ripple Farm or Perry court, and the organic eggs are from Chilham. They buy their fish from Bluey, a local fisherman who sets sail from Ore near Faversham and they collect from him throughout the week in order to maintain freshness.

Got kids coming with you? The White Horse caters especially for children and our chef makes delicious homemade chicken nuggets, fish fingers and toad in the hole. Everything you purchase from their menu is cooked fresh to order, so sometimes this means a slightly longer wait than your average pub. Its worth it though!

It's not just with the food that they are perfectionists, they also take their drinks very seriously too!

A wide selection of real ales are on offer, from local Kentish breweries to more well known and popular breweries such as Fullers and Hopback. At present London Pride, Adnams, Summer Lightning and Golden Arrow are on the pumps although they change these regularly to keep an interesting variety.

There is also live music on every first Sunday of the month, plus The White Horse Quiz Night on the last Wednesday of every month.
