About Victoria Gardens

On top of the cliff tops at Broadstairs you will find the Victoria Gardens, a series of sheltered gardens along the cliff top promenade.

Laid out in 1892, they include charming features such as a rustic arbour and pergola. The Bandstand is a prominent feature within the gardens as are the Clock Tower and an Anglo-Indian style shelter.

Victoria Gardens plays host to an extraordinary number of events through the summer months. Every year Broadstairs holds its famous Folk Week which sees the Victoria Gardens fill up with craft stands and funfair rides. Also it holds its Annual celebration of Charles Dickens with the Dickens Festival.

From here you can cross the Louisa Gap via a bridge and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the cliff top to Dumpton Gap.
