Viking Bay is the main bay in Broadstairs, a beautiful horse shoe shaped bay and one of the finest beaches in Kent.

It combines a small harbour with some working boats with an active sailing club and fishing society as well as car parking, cafes, children's rides, toilets and a first aid station. Chalets, deckchairs and sunloungers are also available to hire.

The sandy beach approximately 150 meters long also has a beach lift open daily from Whitsun to the end of September making it easily accessible for all. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards and in 2006 Viking Bay received its first ever Blue Flag.

Please note, between 1st May and 30th September dogs are not allowed on the beach. at any time.
